Brian Chavez founded Master & Naïf (a.k.a. Master/Naïf) in 2020 while working as Head Tailor for Levi's in Beverly Hills. He helped Levi's open up their first Tailor Shops in Southern California.

With more than 10 years of experience in the fashion industry, Brian has mastered denim tailoring, loves sharing his knowledge and helping our clients look great while feeling comfortable in their clothes.

Vanessa Chavez joined as the CEO of Master & Naïf in 2023 after leaving her job as a Senior Manager of Customer Experience.

After joining Master & Naïf, Vanessa began learning chain stitch embroidery, denim construction, as well as tailoring. She is currently mastering denim repairs and is passionate about her upcycling projects.
